GUID is being trained by Hamet for work in their town, comprising of 2,500 houses. Since July’13 a small core fund support has been initiated. Last period map of Adda wali completed, documentation is in progress. Motivated by GUID team 3 lane sewers were laid. For 3 lane sewers estimate provided last period, money collection in progress. This period meeting held with community; Basti Jargar, Hafizabad, New Rajput colony, and Mohallah Ghosia. Earlier on the community’s request GUID team prepared a proposal for external sewerage, the councilor is lobbying with local MPA to include this in the next ADP. Total 55 lane sewers were laid on self-help (32 technically guided since July’12) 343 houses have invested Rs. 1,557,171 on latrines and lane sewers. This period desilting of one lane in the New Rajput colony. The OPP-RTI team member regularly visits GUID for on-site guidance and support. Last period one Nala 148 rft. completed by Govt. at Basti Taragar (work has been stopped due to budget issues).
